Plans and trial
How does the 30-day trial work?
Every new account gets 30 days of Pro, counted from your first broker connection, not from sign-up. It gives you everything in Pro. It ends on Free unless you pick a plan.
Do I need a card to start?
No. You start on Free with no card and no time limit. A card is asked for only when you pick Trader or Pro.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you picked a plan and added a card, it continues and the first charge is on the trial end date. If not, your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.
Trading
Does Ruly pick trades for me?
No. Ruly runs the rules you write. It has no ready-made strategies and never picks a symbol, a rule or a value. Describe it writes your own sentence as blocks; it does not choose anything for you.
What happens if I miss an approval?
The proposal expires at its deadline and nothing is sent. You choose the window, 60 to 180 seconds after the bar closes; 90 by default. A missed exit is shown on the strategy with a Sell action.
Can I turn on Auto without a paper period?
Yes. A paper period of 5 sessions and 3 round trips is recommended, not required. If a strategy is below it, the confirm shows what is missing with its paper and backtest results, and you choose Proceed anyway or Cancel. Your choice is recorded. Auto also needs your risk limits set and the kill switch and trading switch allowing.
What does the kill switch do?
It pauses every running strategy and cancels every working strategy order in every account. No strategy order is sent while it is on. It never sells, never touches your positions and never touches your own orders; tickets you place yourself still go. It is in the account switcher on every screen and never asks for a passcode. Nothing resumes on its own: you turn each strategy back on.
Brokers and data
Which brokers can I use?
Ruly connects to your own brokerage account through your broker's own connection. Supported brokers are announced at launch.
Where does the market data come from?
Charts and quotes come from your own broker login and are shown only to you. Ruly does not resell market data.
Options
Which option orders can I place?
Calls, puts, verticals, iron condors, butterflies, calendars, straddles, strangles and covered calls, plus diagonal, combo and custom legs on the ticket. Options need the Pro plan.
